Trilobitas formed in Rio de Janeiro in the late 1990s, starting as a trio with Marina Lima on vocals, Arthur de Faria on guitar, and Pupillo on drums. They later added bassist Marcelo Jeneci and keyboardist Domenico Lancellotti. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2000 and included the song "Abre Mão," which became a radio staple in Brazil.
After their debut, they released "Globo da Morte" in 2002 and "Rock Popular" in 2005. Marina Lima left the band in 2004, and the group continued as a quartet. Other songs like "Aos Poucos..." and "Estado de Espírito" show their range across different albums.
They've had several lineup changes over time, with Domenico Lancellotti leaving in 2010 and Arthur de Faria departing in 2016. More recent albums include "Tudo Que Você Podia Ser" from 2013, "Rotação" from 2017, and "Vanguart" from 2021.
