Archive material and source history
Trin-I-Tee is a gospel trio made up of sisters Angel, Crystal, and Monique Jones from the Detroit area. They started singing in church choirs and at local talent shows before catching the attention of music executive John Waller, who signed them to GospoCentric Records in 1997.
Their self-titled debut album came out in 1998 and did well on gospel charts. Songs like "There He Is" and "Holla" showed their soulful harmonies and straightforward approach to uplifting lyrics.
In 2004, they left GospoCentric Records and took some time away from recording. They returned in 2009 with an album called "Back."
