Triunfe

Triunfe is a Brazilian Christian music band that formed in 2003 with four friends: Fábio Teruel on vocals, Luciano Teruel on bass, Fernando Mendonça on drums, and Ronald Silva on guitars. They started making music together with a shared belief in God and a straightforward approach to spreading that message through songs.

Their track "Seja Grato" became particularly well-known, serving as a kind of anthem about gratitude. Other songs like "A Fantástica Fábrica de Ilusões" and "Erros e Lições" followed a similar vein of straightforward Christian themes. They've put out albums including "Restitui" in 2009, "Seja Grato" in 2011, "Além do Véu" in 2013, and "O Som da Liberdade" in 2015.

In 2007, Fernando Mendonça left the band for personal reasons, which meant they had to find a new drummer. A few years later, in 2012, there were some accusations of plagiarism around their song "Restitui," which the band denied and which eventually got resolved. They kept recording and performing through those changes.
