Sagaen fortel at Odin lærde oss i Manneheim å laga Mjød.
Men kunsta å laga mjød hadde han ikkje frå seg sjølv.
Det var dei to dvergane (vettene) Galar og Fjalar som fyrst laga mjød.
Jotnen Suttung tok over mjøden frå dei to dvergane, og det var denne mjøden Odin stjal frå Suttung i Jotunheimen og flaug i ørneham til Åsgard med.
Mjøden gav Odin til æsene, og alle som drakk av denne vart vise og kloke og fekk evner til skaldskap.
Med rotfeste i tusenår-gammel tradisjon er denne mjøden, vår nordiske vin, laga med honning og urter slik våre forfedre gjorde det.
Den gjævaste drikken dei kunne by på; -jamvel gjævare enn øl. Ein gudedrikk med dåm frå norrønog norsk tradisjon og kultur.
