Tronic channeled raw club energy through electronic dance music from 1997 to 2005.
For their signature sound, try 'Combo Final'. 'Hueca de Corazon' shows their melodic side.
Their single 'Combo Final' became something of an electroclash anthem, though its lyrics about music commercialization stirred some debate at the time. Other tracks like 'Fénix' and 'Misis Guiñi' showed their range within the genre's boundaries. Their catalog captures a particular moment when electronic music was getting rougher around the edges in certain Berlin clubs.
Tronic formed in 1997 with MC Gerret Frerichs and producer DJ El Toro. They released three albums - 'Endorama' in 1998, 'Superficial' in 2000, and 'Into This' in 2002 - before dissolving in 2005 after eight years together.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
