Truculência Crew

Truculência Crew formed in 2013 with MC Biel, MC Kevinho, and MC Hariel. Their music came out of Rio de Janeiro's favelas, with songs like 'Ela Só Pega DJ' gaining traction through explicit lyrics and energetic beats. The straightforward sexual content in their work drew criticism from conservative groups who saw it as promoting objectification.

Despite the pushback, their popularity grew. 'Ela Só Pega DJ' became a hit in 2017. They've worked with artists like Anitta, MC Rebecca, and MC Pedrinho. In 2019, MC Kevinho was arrested for drug possession, and MC Biel faced performance bans in some cities over lyrical content.

They kept releasing music through the late 2010s and into 2020 with tracks such as 'Só de Sacanagem,' 'Surtada,' and 'Tô nem aí.' Another song, 'From UK,' appears in their catalog. The group's lineup has included MC Biel among others.
