True Party was a Brazilian dance-pop band that formed in the late 1990s. They had a hit with their single "Whazzup?" around that time, which got played at parties and celebrations. The band's lineup included vocalist André Prando, keyboardist Carlos Eduardo, and guitarist Bruno Ribas.
They released a self-titled album in 2000 and another called "Come Together" in 2003. Prando's lyrics sometimes touched on social and political issues, which occasionally drew attention beyond just the music itself.
Eduardo handled the keyboard work that gave their sound its danceable quality, while Ribas added guitar parts that brought some rock energy to their pop tracks. The band's activity seems to have tapered off after their early 2000s releases.
