Tubolali formed in São Paulo in the mid-1990s with Bruno Gouveia on vocals, Rodrigo Castanho on guitar, Rafael Ramos on bass, and Rafael Castro on drums. Their debut album 'Difícil Não Falar de Amor' came out in 1999, and they followed it with 'Você Me Acende' in 2001.
Their song 'És Especial Pra Mim' from 2002 became particularly well-known. It's one of those tracks that got played a lot on Brazilian radio and television around that time. Other songs like 'Decisões' and 'Não Deixe de Sonhar' also show up in their catalog.
