Tucci

Tucci formed in Bogotá around 2002, with Tulio Triviño, Diego Cadavid, and Mauricio Gonzalez playing local bars and festivals. They worked from a base of traditional Colombian music, though what caught attention was their 2005 debut album, 'Corazón Bandido.' The track 'Amor Bandido' became a hit, its melody and lyrics about unrequited love connecting with listeners across the country.

That album brought them national prominence, and they began touring through Latin America and Europe. Their live shows were energetic, but the band also faced accusations of plagiarism and some legal trouble during this period. They disputed those claims and continued performing.

Tucci's music often balanced romantic ballads with more rhythmic pieces, keeping Triviño's voice at the center. They didn't dramatically reinvent their sound, but maintained a consistent presence in the Colombian scene for years after that initial breakthrough.
