Turbid North formed in 2011 around vocalist and guitarist Oliver Knowles and bassist Rob Fenwick. Their early sound pulled from post-rock, doom metal, and ambient electronica, which they put out on a debut EP called 'Aether' in 2012.
In 2016 they released the album 'Bereavement,' which included the title track and songs like 'Between The Glacier And The Sea' and 'Orogeny.' The record got some critical attention and helped them find an audience beyond their local scene.
