Twin Method

Twin Method formed in Los Angeles in 2004 around Tony Fields and John Bechdel. Fields handled production and programming while Bechdel wrote lyrics and sang. Their debut album 'The Mourning After' came out in 2006, followed by 'The Revenant' in 2010 which included the track '...And Yet Inside Im Screaming.'

Their music leaned into electronic textures with lyrics that often dealt with darker emotional territory. This approach drew some criticism for being too bleak, but they kept at it. In 2014 they released 'The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades,' which incorporated electro-industrial elements.

Songs like 'Fake,' 'Flawless,' and 'The Abrasive' show their range within that electronic framework. They never became a mainstream act, but developed a following among listeners drawn to that particular blend of synthetic sound and raw lyrical content.
