Twin Spica formed in 2004 as a four-piece band with members named Risa, Sora, Natsu, and Yuki. Their debut single 'Miagetegoran Yoru No Hoshi Wo' came out in 2006 and did well enough to get them some attention in Japan.
In 2008, Sora left the group for personal reasons. The remaining members kept going, putting out albums like 'Starry Sky' in 2007 and 'Twin Spica' in 2009. Their songs like 'Venus Say' had a pop sound with some rock elements and balladry mixed in.
Risa handled vocals while Natsu played guitar. Their music tended toward melodic arrangements with lyrics about fairly common themes like love and hope.
