Bad Seed

When I was just a little girl

I sat upon my auntie's knee

Asked about the birds and bees

And this is what she said to me:

There are some things in the world

That cannot be forced

And I'm sorry, I'm oh so sorry

Your virgin heart isn't one of those

Since the beginning of time

It's a cold, cruel fact I cannot deny

And I cringe to think

Of all the ways they get in

But you could be like Venus

And cop a heavenly stench

Surround your petals with a spiky fence

You could be a flower

With a sticky dark throat

You could swallow them whole

and feast on their invading souls!

I feel that faceless force in the family TV

Lurking cold as sweat in the depths of the screen

Slipping unseen into forgotten dreams

It's a killing machine!

Just like an alien head from that scary movie

Thrusting its way through my tender flesh

To plant an evil seed inside of me

But you could be like Venus

And cop a heavenly stench
