Twonix

Twonix is a German electronic duo from Hamburg, formed in the early 2000s by Alexander Twetman and Sven Dohrow. Twetman had classical piano training, while Dohrow came from a DJ background. They started making music that mixed trance, house, and progressive styles.

Their 2007 single "Cerró El Corazón (Promises)" became their breakthrough track. It featured Twetman's vocals over an ethereal melody and gained attention internationally. The duo has kept their public identities somewhat private, which has led to occasional speculation about their work.

After that initial success, they continued releasing music and experimenting with different sounds. Their catalog includes several albums that show their range within electronic music.
