Udo França started as a street performer in Brazil before releasing his debut album in 2009. His music draws from samba, pop, and gospel, with songs like "Quem Eu Sou" and "Teu Amor" among his most recognized work.
In 2014, he faced accusations of plagiarizing another song, which he denied. The following year, he released an album titled "Quem Eu Sou," whose title track became associated with themes of self-acceptance.
He has continued putting out albums, including "O Sol Vai Nascer" in 2018 and "Eu Sou o Caminho" in 2021. His band includes guitarist Andre Siqueira, drummer Renato Oliveira, backing vocalist Mayara Queiroz, and bassist Evandro Mello.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
