Uedson came up in the early 2000s from Serra Talhada in Pernambuco. His song 'Paguei o Preço' got attention around 2004, and it stuck around as one of those tracks people kept playing. He worked with producer Moisés Santiago early on, and put out albums like 'Vou Te Amar' in 2004, 'Isso é Amor' in 2006, and 'A Voz do Povo' in 2008.
His music pulled from forró and sertanejo rhythms, with lyrics that often felt grounded in everyday situations. In 2010, there was a plagiarism lawsuit over 'Paguei o Preço' that got dismissed, but it was part of the conversation around him for a while.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
