Uerisson Silva came from Caruaru in northeastern Brazil, where he grew up hearing forró and sertanejo music. He started singing at local festivals and church gatherings, which is where he developed his voice.
In 2017, he released 'Filho Pródigo,' a song about forgiveness and redemption that connected with listeners and brought him wider attention. The track became his breakout single.
He has worked with other Brazilian artists including Gusttavo Lima, Simone & Simaria, and Wesley Safadão. His band includes Ricardo 'Rica' Rodrigues on bass and Bruno 'Croco' Alves.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
