Ueslei Duarte came up in Salvador, Brazil, and started writing songs as a teenager. In 2008, he got a break when producer Luciano Huck invited him to perform on television, which led to his debut album 'Eu Amo Você.' The title track 'Amo Você' became a major hit in Brazil, along with songs like 'Feliz pra toda vida' and 'Viver e Aprender.'
He also dealt with depression during that period. Through it all, he kept making music, putting out albums like 'Paraíso' and 'Amor de Verdade' that showed him trying different sounds.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
