Magnus Uggla

Magnus Uggla started making music in Stockholm in the 1970s. His debut album 'Om Bob Dylan Var Min Pappa' came out in 1975, and some of the material drew attention for being provocative at the time. He kept writing songs that mixed humor with social observation, and tracks like 'Värsta Grymma Tjejen' and 'I Natt Är Jag Din' became staples on Swedish radio.

During the 1980s and 1990s, albums like 'Den Rätte Ragnarök' and '1000 Katter' did well commercially in Sweden. His band included players like Anders Glenmark on guitar and Jörgen Elofsson on keyboards over different periods. In the early 2000s, he had to deal with a vocal cord hemorrhage that required therapy and time away from performing.

He kept recording after that, putting out albums like 'Innan Filmen Börjar' in 2007 and '35 Åriga Mannen' in 2014. His music often has a direct, conversational quality that connects with listeners without trying to sound polished or perfect.
