Uires Vieira

Uires Vieira formed in Brasília with Uires Vieira as frontman, joined by Alessandro Vieira on bass, Felipe Carvalho on guitar, and Roni Oliveira on drums. They started playing local clubs and festivals around the city, building a following without much initial attention from labels or promoters.

Their debut album 'Alma Brasileira' came out in 2010, and the track 'Nasci Pra Te Amar' caught on nationally. That song's straightforward melody and direct lyrics connected with listeners across Brazil, giving the band its first real break.

After that, Uires Vieira began appearing on bigger stages and occasionally performing alongside artists like Gilberto Gil and Ivete Sangalo. They kept working from their base in Brasília, playing the kind of music that had first gotten them noticed locally.
