Till seger slogs de båda, dock Torolfs liv tog slut!
Omtalad, beryktad, han tapper var och stor,
Flyhänt där med huggorm, än kvickare med ord:
Huvudlösen, Sonatorrek - där drapor som av guld.
Blind han blev mot slutet, trälar dog för skattens skull!
