Unaesta formed in Madrid in 2005 around vocalist David Carabén, guitarist Carlos Allende, and drummer Ivan Telenti. They released their debut album 'El Calor del Sol' in 2007. Their second album 'Ánimo Valiente' came out in 2010, featuring the song 'La Vida Es Una Lenteja' that became their breakthrough track.
Guitarist Pachi García joined the band around 2010. They've continued releasing albums including 'Fuego y Destino' in 2014, 'El Tiempo No Para' in 2017, and 'Planeta Ilusión' in 2021. Their music has drawn attention for lyrics that sometimes touch on social themes.
