A Nashville collective making simple, repeatable songs for group singing since 2013.
For their sound, try 'Here And Now' or 'Simple Gospel.' They're good examples of what they do.
Their songs have a straightforward, earnest quality that fits their name, working where worship music and folk-pop overlap without much studio polish. 'Simple Gospel' and 'Here And Now' typify that approach. Songs like 'Beautiful' are built around simple, repeating phrases meant for group singing.
United Pursuit formed in Nashville in 2013, started by Jared Anderson, Chris McClarney, and Stephen McWhirter. They put out their first album the next year, then kept going after McClarney left in 2017, releasing albums like 'Oh How We Love You' in 2018 and 'Hymns.' in 2020.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
