Universe Hipsters are a trio from South Korea, with members Seo Moon-tak, Lee Seung-jun, and Nam Tae-hyun. They started putting out music in 2019, mixing hip-hop beats with a kind of spacey, atmospheric sound. Their song 'Hanryang' features the singer BIBI and gives a good sense of what they do, it's got a haunting vocal line over a steady, driving rhythm.
Their first EP was called 'Cosmic Symphony,' and it included 'Hanryang' along with another track named 'Starry Night.' Later on, they released a full album titled 'Universe' and singles like 'Blossom' and 'Illusion.' In 2021, Nam Tae-hyun got into a legal issue with his old agency, which caused some disruption for the group.
