Unsung Zeros formed in 2002 when Anya Nova and guitarist Ethan Hayes met at an open mic night. They were joined by bassist Sarah Jones and drummer Max Taylor. Their debut album 'Echoes of the Void' came out in 2005, featuring the single 'Always It Will Be The Same' which became one of their better-known tracks.
Sarah Jones left the band in 2007, and Ethan Hayes took a break in 2009. They kept recording through lineup changes, putting out albums like 'Shadows of the Mind' in 2010 and 'The Fragility of Silence' in 2013. Songs like 'Broadcast' and 'Burn Tomorrow' show their straightforward approach to alternative rock.
They released 'Requiem for the Lost' in 2017. Their catalog includes tracks like 'Chasing Amy' and 'End of Innocence' that stick to their established sound rather than chasing trends.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
