Up The Shit formed in the late 1990s with members El Muerto on vocals, El Demente on guitar, El Diablo on bass, and El Loco on drums. Their music mixed heavy metal and punk, and they released albums like 'Malditos' in 1999, 'Apocalipsis' in 2002, and 'La ProfecĂa' in 2005.
One of their songs, 'Profecias,' used biblical imagery and social critique. Another track, 'Telepatia,' appears among their top songs. Their lyrics often dealt with rebellion and social commentary.
Members later worked on solo projects, with El Muerto focusing on poetry and El Demente releasing experimental albums.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
