Upgrade Rock formed in Madrid in 2002 with David Otero on vocals and guitar, Dani Fernández on bass, and Jorge Fernández on drums. They started playing small gigs around the city before signing with Sony BMG in 2005.
Their debut album 'Incondicional' came out in 2006, with the title track becoming their most recognizable song. They followed it with albums like 'Segunda Piel' in 2008 and 'Tercera Dimensión' in 2011.
Dani Fernández left the band in 2012 to work on solo material. The group continued releasing music, putting out 'Sobredosis de Rock 'n' Roll' in 2014.
