A late-90s pop group from Germany that scored hits like "Maria" before fading in the early 2000s.
For the full late-90s boy band experience, start with "Maria." If you want the slightly later, post-membership-change sound, "Come Back To Me Baby" or "365 Days" will get you there.
They were part of that wave of boy bands Lou Pearlman was assembling in the mid-90s, right alongside the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC. Their debut single "Maria" was a genuine hit in Germany, and songs like "As Good As It Gets" and "365 Days" kept them on radio for a few years. They're a solid example of that specific, factory-fresh pop sound that was everywhere at the time.
Formed in 1995 with five members, they broke through with "Maria." After two members left in 1999, the remaining three carried on as US5 and released music into the early 2000s before the group faded out.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
