Us Fiera formed in Rio de Janeiro in the late 1990s with Leoni on vocals, guitar, and harmonica, Fábio Almeida on bass, and Renato Rocha on drums. They signed with EMI Music in 2003 and released their debut album, "Canções Para Quem Ama Rock," that same year. The album's single "Longe Daqui" became a hit, establishing them with its dreamy melody and relatable lyrics.
Songs like "Me Quis Não" and "Motor" continued to build their catalog. In 2008, Leoni was arrested for possession of cocaine, an incident that brought some negative attention, but the band kept working.
Fábio Almeida left in 2012 after over a decade with the group, and they brought in Fábio Diniz on bass. They released "Além do Horizonte" in 2010 and "Geração Fiera" in 2013, with Marco Túlio joining on guitar in 2015. Their 2018 album "15 Anos" marked a milestone, and tracks like "Nosso Consolo" have remained part of their setlists.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
