Archive material and source history

USDois Musi Project formed as a duo in Rio de Janeiro around 2006, with Rafael Silveira and Tati Portella handling vocals and songwriting. They worked with Bossa Nova and Samba elements, though their sound wasn't strictly traditional.

Their debut single "Quando Chove" came out in 2008 and became their most recognizable track. The song's gentle, rain-themed balladry connected with listeners in Brazil, giving the duo some early attention.

After that initial release, they put out several albums over the next decade or so, including Um Novo Tempo in 2010 and Cores in 2018. The pair kept recording together through 2021's Ponto de Encontro.
