Uður Arslan formed in Istanbul in 2004, originally as a trio with Can Arslan on vocals and guitar, Erdem Tuncer on bass, and Emre Erdem on drums. Their first album, 'Uzakta,' came out in 2006 and got them some early attention.
They've put out several albums since then, including 'Seni Yağmurdan Sonra Seveceğim' in 2014. The band's lyrics have sometimes touched on social and political topics, which has drawn both listeners and criticism.
Their music tends toward soulful melodies with a straightforward rock setup. The lineup has stayed consistent with the three founding members handling vocals, bass, and drums.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
