The Quest

The time of fear and hatred

Now shakes a man

The consequences of his life

Now takes it's toll.

As it is written, for Your sake

We face death all day long

We're considered as sheep to be slaughtered

Shades of grey.

The beast of devouring

Which filled us with grief

The darkness which surrounds us.

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth

Compared with the glory

That will be revealed in us.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen

But on what is unseen

For what is seen, is temporary

And what is unseen is eternal.

We live by faith, not by sight

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him

who loved us.

For I am convinced, that neither death nor life

Neither angels nor demons,

Nor any powers,

Will be able to separate us from the love of our God,

That is in Jesus Christ our Lord.
