Cette chanson évoque l'épopée des " peuples de la mer ", ces habitants de la mystérieuse Atlantide, fabuleuse civilisation engloutie par les flots. Prise au sérieux depuis Platon, l'existence réelle de l'Atlantide semble avoir été démontrée par l'archéologue Jurgen Spanuth qui la situe en Mer du Nord sous les roches d'Héligoland, qui signifie " Terre sacrée ".
