He continued recording through this period, putting out albums like 'Alma Boêmia' in 2002 and 'Ao Vivo em Copacabana' in 2005. Other songs in his catalog include 'Criado do Teu Amor' and 'Pagodim da Corrupção.'
He has worked with other Brazilian musicians including Caetano Veloso. Farias released a compilation called 'Valdir Farias: Ouro' in 2012.
