Valente is a Brazilian band that formed in 2011 when Lucas Silveira and Fabio Almeida met in Rio de Janeiro. They started as a duo playing small venues and busking on the streets before releasing their debut album in 2014.
That first album was titled after their song 'O Céu Eu Vou Tocar,' which became their breakthrough track. They've since released several more albums including a live recording from São Paulo in 2015 and another from Portugal the following year.
Their music includes songs like 'Learn Me Right' and 'Song Of Mor'du' alongside their better-known Brazilian material. The current lineup still features Silveira and Almeida on vocals and guitar.
