Valmor e Wagner

Valmor Rosa and Wagner Almeida started playing together in 2002 after meeting at a bar in their hometown of Mogi Guaçu, São Paulo. They built a local following playing traditional Brazilian songs, with Valmor on guitar and Wagner handling most of the vocals.

Their 2009 debut album included the song 'Agora Sou Mais Eu,' which became a hit across Brazil. The track's straightforward emotional delivery connected with listeners who appreciated their unadorned approach to sertanejo music.

They've recorded other songs like 'Amor Não Correspondido' and 'Minha Saudade Não Passa' that follow a similar pattern of direct, melodic storytelling. Their work stays focused on the kind of romantic themes that define much of the genre they operate in.
