Albums like 'Caminhos do Vento' in 1982 and 'O Homem e a Floresta' in 1985 continued exploring similar themes. He also recorded songs like 'Eu Sou Solteiro' and 'Primeiro Amor,' which showed a more personal side alongside his environmental concerns.
Alves performed with various musicians over time, including guitarist Luiz Mauro Filho and drummer Cláudio Israel. His advocacy through music sometimes drew criticism, but he maintained his focus on using songs as a form of commentary.
