Vandy Santos is a Brazilian band that formed around Vânia Abrão on lead vocals, Santos Vasconcelos on guitar and vocals, Cássio Ferreira on bass and vocals, and Diego Freitas on drums. They released their debut album 'História de Amor' in 2013, which included the title track that became their most recognizable song.
They followed with 'Amor Sem Fim' in 2015 and a compilation called 'Canções de Amor' in 2017. A live album, 'Vandy Santos Ao Vivo', came out in 2019. The group went through several lineup changes over time, which affected their work.
In 2015, their song 'Não Me Deixes Só' drew criticism for lyrics some interpreted as promoting domestic violence. The band withdrew the track and apologized. They haven't released new studio material since the live album.
