Varial formed in São Paulo in 2003 with Felipe Andreoli on vocals, Rodrigo Koala on bass, Pedro Altério on guitar, and Marcelão on drums. Their debut album 'As Quatro Estações do Medo' came out in 2005. The band's drummer Marcelão died in 2007, and Xande Tamboril joined to replace him.
Later albums included 'Esse Mundo Que A Gente Escolheu' in 2009, 'Cérebro Miliciano' in 2013, and 'Sermão' in 2018. Guitarist Pedro Altério left in 2015, with Rafael Guimarães taking over that role.
Songs like 'Equilíbrio', 'Escolhas', and 'Algo Sobre Nós' show their mix of punk, hardcore, and Brazilian sounds. They've kept playing shows around Brazil since those early days in São Paulo.
