Their self-titled debut album came out in 1987, featuring songs like "Acto 2, Escena 1." They worked with Nacho Cano of Mecano and Pedro Almodóvar.
Their lyrics sometimes drew criticism, with "Acto 2, Escena 1" raising questions about sexual ambiguity. They put out records through the late '80s and early '90s, including 20 Golpes in 1988, Interior in 1990, El Milagro in 1992, and El Mundo de las Apariencias in 1994.
