I took the garbage to the curb through the poring rain

The little tiny droplets were driving me insane

I threw the bag onto the ground and started to walk back

Then I saw your pretty face and froze in my tracks

We locked our gaze and smiled as the clouds began to lift

You began to walk to me, so elegant and swift

I began to blush, I was as scared as I could be

This girl was as pretty as any girl could be

I now love the rain
