They released albums like "Samba da Gente" in 1973 and "Alegria do Samba" in 1984. Their song "Maneiras" became one of their better-known tracks. The group worked with other Brazilian musicians including Martinho da Vila, who has been involved with the group since its early days.
The group continued performing and recording, putting out "Nosso Samba" in 2003 and another track called "Renascer das Cinzas."
