Archive material and source history

Velix formed in Greece in the early 2000s around vocalist Kostas Martakis and keyboardist Nikos Karvelas. The lineup eventually settled with George Mantacas on drums, Dimitris Antoniou on bass, and Christos Kioutsoukis on guitar.

Their debut album 'Echoes of Your Dreams' came out in 2006, and the title track became a hit. They followed it with 'In the Name of Love' in 2008.

In 2012 they released 'Silver Moon' featuring Playmen and Christos Mastoras. The song appears to have been their most notable single. They put out albums called 'One More Night' in 2010 and 'Thunder' in 2015.
