Deceit

Growling vengeful threats,

I from the vanguard fell

Into the abyssal plane,

Armor rent and destrier slain.

It was gabriel, the regent of life,

Who relinquished my insurgent desires.

At the dissident conclave,

I conveyed the stratagem

To expunge the creator's gift,

Unchaining the profundity of sin.

When raphael to the seventh rose,

I passed in a mantle of shade,

And coiled upon the fruitful limb,

Unnoticed by the cherubim

To drawl with serrated, deep venom,

And turn the trestle of piety.

From the dust of the earth
