Venice formed in Los Angeles in 2004 with vocalist Kiara Hunter, guitarist Michael Perry, bassist Danny Morris, and drummer Nick Pilotis. They took their name from the neighborhood where they started playing together. Their debut EP 'Chasing Shadows' came out in 2007, featuring the track 'Happiness Is the Best Revenge.'

They put out the album 'The Fire Within' in 2012 and followed it with 'Phoenix' in 2017. Some of their songs include 'Cotton Candy,' 'The Romance That Never Was,' and 'All Fall Together.'

Venice played shows around LA and developed a following for their rock sound. They released the EP 'Rise Again' in 2020.
