Vent formed in the early 2000s around vocalist and guitarist Damien Serrano, with bassist James Flemons and drummer Alex Tate completing the original trio. Their 2004 debut album included 'Back and Forth,' which became their most recognizable song.
After Flemons and Tate left in 2006, Serrano brought in Joshua Pfeiffer on bass and Adam Fiore on drums. The band faced plagiarism accusations around their 2009 album 'Echoes,' which they denied. They kept recording, eventually putting out six studio albums that included songs like 'Looking Down' and 'Only Human.'
