She started putting out music in the early 1990s, with a debut single called 'Bitteres Ende.' The work that followed, including albums like 'Engel im Schnee' and 'Sehnsucht,' kept building on that initial mood. There were some rough patches, including a vocal cord issue in the 2000s that she had to work through, and a plagiarism claim in 2010 that was later dismissed.

She recorded with musicians like guitarist Thomas D, bassist Peter Wölpl, and drummer Matthias Ulmer. Later albums, such as 'Leben auf dem Mond' and 'Durch die Dunkelheit,' showed she was still writing. The songs never really shouted; they were more about finding a specific, quiet frequency and staying there.
