Vertigo In Black formed in Madrid in 2012 with vocalist Maribel "Maribelin" Martín, guitarist Alberto "Berto" Márquez, and bassist José "Jose" Moreno. They released their debut album "Reevolution" in 2014, followed by "Motel Infierno" in 2016 and "Némesis" in 2019.
Their song "Coquetel Molotov" drew some criticism in 2017, which the band addressed as a metaphorical take on social issues. Other tracks like "Error 404" and "Garotos de Isopor" show their mix of heavy rock with Spanish and English lyrics.
They've kept a steady presence in Spain's rock scene, working with themes that range from personal reflection to broader societal questions without leaning too hard on any one style.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
