Their 1988 single 'Ese Oscuro Objeto Del Deseo' became a hit in Spain, which brought them wider attention. The song's moody, rhythmic quality and Pizarro's vocals defined much of what people came to expect from them.
They released albums like 'El Último Tren' in 1987 and 'La Noche Eterna' in 1990. Their music often dealt with themes of desire and psychological tension, as heard on tracks like 'La guerra de los Sexos'.
