Once a time when lead afield

And left abandoned to fend

Let a pebble find a way

Weather washed the trail to an end

There's no return for the left behind

Tempt is easy when is without

Where do the hungry turn when there's nothing

To fall to the feast

On the stray the witches prey when in

The young are callow an easy lure fooled into fantasy

Now penned in tight, can't get out if ya try

Face fate, in wait, what's to come gonna die

Bound bind, wrapped in, hold up in a keep

Bootless, foregone with none but worries to weep

Force fed, near dead, til the thick is in set

Once braised for the fare, soon we'll have at it yet

Take piece in part, with the fodders to flame

Steep well, til wrought, with the innocent slain

Unwary and unwise, baiting to unforeseen

Ignore the warning signs, soon to the victim be

All these without way, fainted by the disguise

Wishes as they may, but soon the end here it lies

Purified in transition
